El Espíritu del Gaucho
Inspired by Yerba Mate, a stimulating infusion brewed from the leaves of the Ilex Paraguariensis plant, which boasts a rich history steeped in South American tradition. For centuries, indigenous communities, the Guaraní, revered this "green gold" for its invigorating properties and its role in social rituals. This tradition was readily adopted by the gauchos, the iconic nomadic horsemen of the Pampas.
For the gauchos, gathered around a crackling fire under the vast Pampas sky, sharing Mate was a way to connect with each other, to reaffirm their shared identity, and to draw strength from their community. The communal sharing fosters a sense of belonging and reinforces the ties that bind friends and families together, a tradition that continues to this day.

Our Story
Yerba Spirit has been years in the making. An idea that was born in the Andes, sitting with friends in the mountains, sharing Yerba Mate, when the thought came that this intriguing, complex infusion has the perfect profile to be brought into the world of spirits.
Fast forward to today where we have partnered with master distillers, embracing traditional techniques, to create a new hand crafted, small batch botanical spirit.
